David Scott is no Johnny-come- lately when it comes to fighting for gun safety. Before moving on to Congress, he spent 28 years under Georgia’s gold dome sponsoring one gun bill after another, to help keep the schools, streets and communities of Georgia safe. David has taken that same fight to Congress, working across party lines, he has sponsored and co-sponsored over a dozen pieces of legislation supporting strengthening background checks to keep guns from those who shouldn’t have them and safety locks on guns to protect our children. He believes that working together, one day we will find a commonsense solution to our nation’s ongoing gun violence epidemic.
